Charlie Hamish Jeffery, né en 1975 à Oxford, vit et travaille à Paris. Son œuvre, animée par des forces et des humeurs contraires, entre croissance et destruction, puissance créatrice et laisser faire, prend des formes multiples, où la sculpture, la poésie et la performance occupent une large place.
Il est diplômé de l’école des beaux-arts de l’Université de Reading (Royaume-Uni). Depuis le début des années 2000, il a participé à de nombreux programmes de performances et expositions collectives en France et dans le monde, dont, récemment, au FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais (2017), ou au Centre d’art Les Capucins à Embruns (2016). Plusieurs expositions personnelles lui ont été consacrées, au Quartier, Centre d’Art Contemporain à Quimper (2011), à la galerie Florence Loewy qui le représente à Paris (2017), ou à la Kunsthalle Lingen en Allemagne (2017).

Charlie Hamish Jeffery, born in Oxford in 1975, lives and works in Paris. His work, animated by contrary moods and strengths, between growth and destruction, creative power and laisser faire, takes on multiple forms, sculpture, painting, poetry and performance are major components.
He graduated from the Fine Art School of Reading University (United Kingdom).
